Furthermore, other wireless connections, such as Wi-Fi, use Bluetooth’s frequency, i.e., 2.4 Hz. So, the wifi will take more bandwidth space to haul the Bluetooth connectivity, causing the audio to cut out.
One way to solve this problem is by reducing Bluetooth Signal interference. Turn off Bluetooth or wirelessly connected devices in the same room. If you’re outside, you can try removing and reconnecting the AirPods with the audio source/phone. Furthermore, keep the sound source closer to the AirPods for better connection.
Another way to solve this problem is by resetting the Bluetooth Connection. It’ll strengthen the Bluetooth connection of your AirPods and the Audio Source.

Since AirPods connect to the audio source via Bluetooth, the two devices must be in the line of contact or connectivity range. The audio signals will keep cutting out if your audio source is too far from the AirPods or not in the connectivity range.

- Place your AirPods in the charging case and close the case.
- Let the AirPods rest for about 30 seconds.
- Now, open your Phone’s Settings.
- Find Bluetooth from the Phone’s settings, click on it, find your AirPods name, and click on the (i) in front of it to open the information.
- Next, tap on Forget This Device.
- Now, Open the AirPods case lid and press the Setup button on the back for about 15 seconds.
- Wait for the LED light to flash Amber and then white. It indicates that AirPods have been reset to Factory Settings.
- Finally, reconnect your AirPods to the iPhone and test the connection.
